The deference between OBD, BSL and DC modes:

OBD mode: is a software mode by diagnostic port OBDII.
Advantage: Fast - 5 minutes.; No need to disconnect or open ECU.
Disadvantage: Could not read damaged ECU.

BSL mode: is a Boot Strap Loader mode. (Safe mode for ECU).
Advantage: Could read/write damaged ECU.
Disadvantage: Slow mode. 30 min to read or write

DC mode: is a normal software mode.
Advantage: Fast - 5 minutes.; Reads MCM2.1 locked and ACM2.1 locked. No need to open ECU.
Disadvantage: Could not read damaged ECU.

How you could damage ECU:
- if you prevent write operation;
- if you disconnect DC2 at write operation;
- if your power supply (or truck battery) is a very bad condition;

Use these functions at your own risk!
