AdBlue off Mercedes MP5 with MCM and ACM3
Great news for AutoVEI - Truck Explorer users! With newest Truck Explorer v8.2 software, you can disable AdBlue and DPF related parameters. It’s a long-waited solution for all tuners who want to disable AdBlue system in MP5 Mercedes trucks with MCM and ACM3.
Supported trucks until 2024.
2025 year trucks not supported (with new CGW5).
IMPORTANT NOTE: before proceeding with this operation, make sure that in your country it is allowed to drive trucks with disabled AdBlue system. We do not recommend this procedure, and we recommend fixing your AdBlue system and have it working. The user is responsible for making this procedure.
Here we are going to introduce a step-by-step manual on how to disable AdBlue and DPF systems in Mercedes MP5 truck.
Before we dive into it, let’s make sure you have the necessary equipment.
Needed:
If you are all set, let’s begin. Ten steps below.
STEP 1.
- Connect VEI V8 device with your computer and OBD port in your truck.
- Open Truck Explorer v8.2 software or greater.
- Go to “Connection” tab in the menu and choose: Mercedes & On-board Diagnostics (OBD) (like in the picture below)
- Press Connect
STEP 2.
- When connected, go to Parameters in the menu.
- Choose CGW and select Parameter name “ACM”.
- Choose Value “Not installed” and press WRITE.
- Operation costs 10 tokens, press Yes to continue.
STEP 3.
- Now go to “Actions” tab in the menu
- Choose “Control Unit List Teach-In” and press RUN
- Operation costs 10 tokens, press Yes to continue.
STEP 4.
- Go back to “Parameters” tab in the menu
- Choose parameter “AdBlue range” and press READ
- Choose value “Disabled” and press WRITE
- Operation costs 10 tokens, press Yes to continue
STEP 5.
- Now choose parameter name “DPF Enable”
- Choose value “Disable” and press WRITE
- Operation costs 10 tokens, press Yes to continue
STEP 6.
- Now go to “Parameters” tab in the menu and choose MS
- Choose parameter name “DPF Enable”
- Choose value “Not active” and press WRITE
- Operation costs 10 tokens, press Yes to continue
STEP 7.
- Now go to “Memory” tab in the menu and select MCM.
- Press MEMORY ANALYSE.
- Read PFLASH+DFLASH and EEPROM and save it to your computer (always save original backup)
STEP 8.
- Make corrections (disable AdBlue & DPF related info) in this MCM Flash file with ECULite software.

- Or send file to proffesional tuner who will make needed corrections for the Flash file.
STEP 9.
- After reading and Flash file corrections, now press WRITE PFLASH+DFLASH.
- Choose modified MCM flash (with disabled AdBlue & DPF related info)
FINAL STEP 10.
Erase all fault codes from your truck.
Procedure completed - You can now start your truck!

- Internet connection

- Read PFLASH+DFLASH and EEPROM and save it to your computer (always save original backup)
